Why we built factoHR
factoHR started because HR teams in India deserved better than imported tools or hand-built Excel. The early customers were factories around Ahmedabad and Mumbai who could not get a payroll system that understood Maharashtra PT slabs, EPFO ECR formats, and how Indian gratuity actually works.
Today we serve everything from Andheri startups to multi-location manufacturers across India. The product has evolved, but the principle has not changed. Build for how Indian companies actually run their people, not how a textbook says they should.
