Questions teams ask before they switch
How accurate is selfie punch?
The AI face-match model is trained on Indian faces and works in low light, with masks (lower portion only), and through partial face changes (beard growth, haircuts). False rejection rate is under 1.5%. Employees enrol their face once during onboarding.
Which biometric machines are supported?
eSSL (most models), Realtime, ZKTeco, Matrix, Cogent, Mantra, and Suprema. We push integration support quarterly. If your specific model is not listed, send us a photo and we will check.
Can field staff bypass geo-fence?
No. If they are outside the geofence radius, the punch button is disabled. Managers can grant one-off exceptions with reason logged. All punches save GPS coordinates as evidence.
What about employees in low-network areas?
The mobile app supports offline punch. Data syncs once network is available with the original timestamp preserved.
Can we have different shift rules for different teams?
Yes. You can have one set of rules for your Mumbai office, another for your Bhiwandi factory, and a third for field sales. All managed from one admin panel.
Does it handle Maharashtra holiday calendars?
Yes. State-wise public holidays preloaded. You can add company-specific holidays, regional ones (Gudi Padwa, Ganesh Chaturthi, etc.) and optional holidays where employees pick from a list.
What about overtime calculations?
