Questions before you start
Is the Free plan really free forever?
Yes. The Free plan stays free forever for teams up to 20 employees. No credit card required, no time limit, no surprise charges. You get employee data, letter generation, and payslip generation. When you cross 20 employees or need payroll, attendance, or compliance modules, upgrade to Core or higher.
Are these prices including GST?
No. All prices on this page are exclusive of GST. 18% GST is applicable on Indian invoices. The total amount on your invoice will include applicable GST.
What if my team is below 50 employees?
All three plans are priced for "up to 50 employees" as the base. If you have 12 or 32 employees, you still pay the base plan price. The per-employee rate only applies above 50. This keeps things simple and predictable as you grow.
Can I upgrade between plans?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and we prorate the cost. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. There are no penalties or lock-in periods.
Do you offer annual pricing discounts?
Yes. Customers who commit to annual billing get a meaningful discount. Talk to our team for exact numbers based on your plan and team size.
What's included in implementation?
Implementation includes account setup, employee data migration, salary structure configuration, leave policy setup, attendance rules, statutory configuration for your state, and walkthrough sessions with your team. We don't charge for any of this. Most SMBs go live in 7 to 14 days.
Is data hosted in India? What about security?
Yes. Customer data is hosted on cloud infrastructure with redundancy across regions. factoHR is ISO 9001 certified, ISO 27001 certified, and AICPA SOC 2 audited, with encryption at rest and in transit, multi-level access control, and strong password policies.
Can we cancel anytime?
Yes. There's no long-term lock-in. You can cancel at the end of any monthly billing cycle. We'll help you export all your data in standard formats (Excel, CSV) before account closure.
Do you offer enterprise pricing for 1000+ employees?
Yes. For organisations with 1000+ employees, complex compliance needs, or multi-entity setups, we offer custom enterprise pricing with volume discounts, dedicated success management, and SLAs. Get in touch for a quote.
What's your refund policy?
If you're not happy in the first 30 days, we'll refund your subscription in full. We've been doing this for 20+ years and stand behind the product. There is no cancellation fee or lock-in period. On annual subscriptions, the remaining credit is not refunded if you discontinue mid-cycle.
Do you have a free trial on paid plans?
Yes. A 14-day free trial of Core, Premium, or Ultimate, no credit card needed. You get full access, real implementation support from our Mumbai team, and the ability to migrate your actual data so you can evaluate it for real. If you only need basic HRIS, the Free plan is free forever, no trial required.
Who owns the data?
You do. It's your data and it's all yours. You can access it anytime at a click and export the full dataset in standard formats (Excel, CSV) regardless of plan tier or account status.
